Wanted to love this trash can, and would have if was actually a 13 gallon trash can, it really would have been the perfect trashcan for my coffee shop…BUT it was slightly damaged in shipment but MORE IMPORTANTLY the inner tub (the actual trash bin) is maybe 5 gallons, I’ve pictured it next to my 13 gallon kitchen trash can at home so you an see the difference. Maybe the whole gold body would be 13 gallons, but the inner tub is definitely NOT.
Then don’t even get me started on the return process…I reached out to them a couple days after receiving it and trying it in my space, on their contact page off their website (whatever they respond with went to spam in my email). Luckily I caught it and sent the requested photos on 6/13/2024…it is now 6/21 and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A RETURN LABEL. At first they tried to just offer me 30% back and keep the trash can, but because I have zero use for it I requested a full return. So then they sent me a return label but in the body of the email it said “please check the return label and address (listed my RA number) 131 Marcellin Dr , City of Industry California 91789 US” and that once they received my return they would issue me a refund. So I checked the return shipping label THEY sent me and it had my RA number but a completely different address of “18501 ARENTH AVE CITY INDUSTRY CA 91748-1301”. I emailed them asking which of the two address I’m supposed to send it back to and the said the former (131 Marcellin Dr , City of Industry California 91789 US)…so I have sent a second request that they correct the return label for shipping with their correct address. Just makes me think that they were hoping I wouldn’t catch the wrong address on the shipping label, so that when it was “returned” they wouldn’t have to refund me…
If you plan on buying from them I suggest paying the extra $10+ on Amazon, so you can return with a click of a button and don’t have to deal with the back and forth of trying to return the item even though they’re website says “products could return for free within 30 days for some reason!”
